Glass Gloves or Glass Handling Gloves are defined as gloves that have a coating on the palms that is designed to provide a good grip on smooth surfaces such as glass with some degree of resistance to cuts and punctures. Cut-Resistant Glass Gloves are defined as gloves that are ANSI Rated (Levels 1-5 with 5 being most resistant) for their resistance to cuts and punctures from glass or sharp objects. The thickness and type of yarn material of the glove's shell and type of outer coating determines the amount of the glove's resistant to cuts and punctures from glass. Remember: There is no such thing as a cut-proof glove.
